Do the apps send anything anywhere?
No. There is no account, no telemetry and no analytics in any of them. FocusLens makes no network requests at all. SweepyMac fetches one thing, its malware definitions file, and checks that file's signature before trusting a byte of it.
How does buying SweepyMac work?
Pick a plan on the buy page: annual, monthly or buy once, for 1, 2 or 5 Macs. Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, who take payment and issue the receipt. Your licence key appears on screen the moment payment clears, and again in your email. The app includes a three-day free trial.
How many Macs does a licence cover?
As many as the plan you bought: 1, 2 or 5. Moving to a new Mac means activating there with the same key. If you have retired a Mac and need its slot back, write in.
What if SweepyMac removes something I wanted to keep?
Look in the Trash. Everything SweepyMac removes goes there, and the message that appears right after a clean has an Undo in it. Only emptying the Trash itself and removing a system-owned threat skip it, and each of those asks first.
How do I get FocusLens?
Ask on the FocusLens page and a build comes back by email. FocusLens is free; the email step exists only while the release build is being notarized. The day that is done, the page grows a download button.
